- Think about how your feelings can be represented by different parts of your body.
- Prompts: what weighs you down (shoulders), what holds you together (bones), passions and loves (heart), worries (stomach), what makes you feel alive (lungs), what emotions flow through you (veins)?
- Create a movement or gesture which represents the prompt and turn it into a sequence.
- Share your sequence. This can be done silently (movement only) or narrated (movement and speech).
Notes: This can be left open to interpretation or ascribed prompts – If the group is familiar with devising they should respond without the prompts, to generate more imaginative and natural movements.
