- Stand in a circle and pass a ball around.
- The person throwing the ball says a word and the person who catches the ball needs to say a word that they associate with the original word – the first thing that comes to their mind.
- The next person says a word that they associate with the last word, and so on.
- Move around the space while doing the exercise.
Notes: This is a good warm-up exercise and can be used in groups where the participants do not know each other. It’s also a revealing exercise about what’s relevant and meaningful to this group.
